I am not pointing fingers, but here is the mikael vs dot rules clarification for future reference:

When there are multiple triggered effects waiting to go onto the chain, the turn players places all of his effects on to the chain first followed by the player to his left. Then resolve the chain as normal.

The effect of Mikael will resolve before the DoT.
