I know it just came out today, but has anyone gotten their hands on it and what are the initial impressions. I won't be able to get one til after the 1st I'm sure so but I wanted to get an initial impression on the raid.

I have not even glanced at the cards yet. I need to soon though

Some of the allies are really good, but there are some bomb traitor abilities.

I really like the one cost 1/2 Protector that heals when it protects, that is going to see some play. Warlock, Priest, and Mage love it!

The Shaman one especially did not need to be printed. Kil'zin rush just got dumber. In a nutshell it's a two casting cost Chain Lightening, with a small drawback.

Here's what I've figured so far. Druid ability is meh. It's nice, but won't see too much play I don't think. Hunter is probably the best hunter ability I've seen in a while. Just a nice hit me hit you back kinda thing for only one resource. Mage is just sick. So many good allies for horde come in at 2 that only have 3 health. This card kills them ALL in one hit. Paladin is meh. I'm not too impressed, I think there are better aura's honestly. Granted not as cheap but still. Priest is well ouch. I make you discard Ishannah. Have a nice day. A traitor discard deck is looking more and more viable. How much is really dependant on shadow only stuff? Rogue is very nice. I think one of the best printed. Who cares about untargetable when it's the only one you have left. I kill it. Warlock I like because it's a 1 for 6 damage over 3 turns. And it's instant so you are pretty much going to get your 3 out of it at least. Finally my favorite class Warrior. As if they didn't have enough ways of killing equipment. I don't think it's great, but in the right circumstance it can still be good.

As far as the allies goes, people who want to do obliveron have to be loving this. Some nice new 1 drop demons, something to fill the void at 4 for allies with the big 2/6 protector. A means of ability / equipment hate with a minor drawback (also a 4 drop). I actually like the 2/3 that says if you do more then 3 damage to her prevent it all. It almost forces a 2/1 trade in your favor when she hits the table or forces your opponent to use hard removal to get rid of her.

The treasure, well a couple of things are stupid sick. Definately the Warglaives being the most of the set. I do like equipment with when it goes to the graveyard effects, but to imagine on turn 6 I can swing for 9 dmg with those things and god forbid one goes to the gy and I get a 3/3 ally out of the deal.

Anyway, that's the impression I've gotten from what I've seen so far. I can't wait to get a couple copies and actually play against it. Oh well, see you guys on the 28th here in SA.
