Title: Top of the game?

Just curious where everyone thinks the meta is at right now? What do you think the deck to beat is?
It seems like Bloody Mary Control is pretty popular, Telrander is still clawing around, Druids in all specs for that matter seem to be having thier day in the sun.
I think mage is probably the top threat IMO, mainly because you can't ever be sure whats going to happen. Will they aggro and burn you? Will they out control you? If it weren't for the low health total, I think they'd be way on top.
Really, I can't find a clear "Deck to beat", just lots of threats that will attack a lot of diffrent ways. Game one almost doesn't matter anymore.

If you are running a gauntlet then you should probably include the following.
Horde Control (This includes Bloody Mary, Mojo Mender, Omedus, Paladin, and Mage) They are all the same deck, just run different supporting cards.
Draelor Discard Control, this is going to get run since it was featured. It really only beats up on the above control decks. It gets wacked up and down by solo, and I think it is a pretty weak deck.
Druid Catform, yada yada it be fast but gets shut down by anti solo strats. Be prepared or get prepared (as dinner).
Balance Druid Beats/Burn, this is a really strong deck with lots of answers around the board. It can be fast out of the gates and usually just wins late in the game. It does not have any really bad matchups other than Warlock Control.
Rotun, yeah it is still that good and it is still stupid.
Warlock Metabreaker. There are about 5 or 6 really solid builds of Warlock Aggro/Control right now. Good luck trying to nail down something specific, watchout for Greatsword of Horrid Dreams and the unkillable Sarmoth.
Mortal Strike Warrior. Take your pick on hero, nothing new to really report you know what this deck can do.
Horde Aggro. Hunter, Mage, Priest, the priest version is by far the scariest with the Hunter version being the most consistant. Expect Morlug hijinks to abound.
Alliance Control. Graccus or Priest, see horde control but with better recursion and fewer win conditions.
If I were building a deck today I would probably play Rotun or Horde Hunter Aggro. If I had time to build, test, and all the cards I would play Horde Balance Druid Beats/Burn.

Yeah... Mortal strike warrior is one I left off my list. Twigbelly being the obvious, but the other versions I've seen can still just win if they get the nut hand.
Discard/control... yeah, it's slightly interesting, but I'm not sure it's got the right stuff.
Warlock control is just mean against anything.
I feel like oldschool untargetable aggro may have an opening to come back, but warlock _still_ eats that up. It seems to me like the main check on warlock is solo, and solo has been virtually taken out of the meta.
So lock or (some version of) morlug combo seem like the "decks to beat"

Omedus, Ozzati, Paladin (Horde and Alliance) and all manner of Warlock control.

i just think that this format is all about the control decks and after looking at a lot of top 8 regional reports its looking more and more like that to me and thats why i'm going back to druid rush :P (ah just like the good old HoA days)

I've been trying to figure out how to make the hunter work in the new meta, and it seems like everything I do is wrong... Hopefully I can have a new deck put together by the next heroplex outing.
